Alea Nadeem for Congress is a high-stakes federal campaign in Ohio’s 9th Congressional District. As a Lieutenant Colonel, national security expert, and political outsider, Alea needed a digital presence that matched the seriousness of her background and the urgency of her message. The prior web presence was minimal; this was a ground-up build of an entirely new campaign platform designed to communicate her story, showcase her positions, and drive volunteer sign-ups and donations.

Crosby Creative Co. developed a full modern campaign website that elevates Alea’s biography, organizes her extensive issue positions, and provides voters with a crystal-clear understanding of who she is, what she stands for, and how they can get involved.

The Problem

A new congressional campaign enters a crowded, noisy political environment—where voters form impressions in seconds and credibility is everything. Alea Nadeem is a compelling, decorated Air Force officer, but her digital presence did not yet exist. The campaign needed a website that could:

NO EXISTING DIGITAL FOOTPRINT

Alea was new to politics and had no prior campaign site. Voters needed an authoritative, trustworthy introduction that communicated seriousness from the first scroll.

A COMPLEX, MULTI-ISSUE PLATFORM

Unlike single-issue candidates, Alea had 17+ detailed policy positions spanning economic, national security, social, energy, agriculture, and regional topics. These needed to be organized coherently so voters could easily find and understand her stances.

NO CENTRALIZED STORYTELLING

Alea’s compelling biography—military leadership, national security experience, Air Force service—wasn’t yet framed in a way that made her unique strengths stand out compared to a long-time incumbent.

HIGH TRUST ENVIRONMENT

Campaigns—especially first-time runs—must signal credibility, transparency, and professionalism immediately. The site needed to feel polished and substantive, not templated or generic.

Our Solution

We built the Alea for Congress website from the ground up with a focus on credibility, narrative, conversion, and ease of use.

1. A COMMANDING HERO & INTRODUCTION

The homepage opens with strong imagery and clear framing: “Veteran. Patriot. Fighter. Alea Nadeem for Congress.” This establishes Alea’s identity instantly and positions her as a serious alternative to a 42-year incumbent. The hero integrates:

We turned Alea’s biography into a structured, multi-section story:

3. CREATED A COMPREHENSIVE ISSUES HUB

The Issues page is one of the most extensive components of the site. We built:

A grid-based visual index with 17 topical tiles
Clean, single-issue pages that mirror one another structurally
Consistent use of photography, sub-headings, and storytelling
Readable paragraphs for voters scanning on mobile
Policies covering economic, national security, agriculture, energy, veterans, and social issues

Each issue page is formatted for clarity, persuasion, and searchability.

4. STREAMLINED SUPPORTER ACTIONS & CONVERSION

Every key supporter action is prominently available:

Attend events
Share on social media

Inline forms and simplified fields reduce friction, making it easy for supporters to take immediate action.

5. HIGH-CREDIBILITY DESIGN & USER EXPERIENCE

We used patriotic but professional styling: strong navy, clean red accents, and modern typography. The layout emphasizes:

Large photography
Organized content blocks
Ample whitespace
Scannable typography

This positioning helps Alea—an outsider with serious credentials—stand out as competent, disciplined, and trustworthy.

6. BUILT TO GROW AS THE CAMPAIGN GROWS

The site structure allows the campaign to:

Add future issues
Publish news and press releases
Embed events
Update messaging
Expand donation pathways (e.g., “Donate with Bitcoin”)

This architecture supports the dynamic nature of a federal campaign.

The Design

The new Alea for Congress website gives voters a vivid, authoritative introduction to a national security leader running to bring change to Northwest Ohio. Instead of a generic campaign template, the final site:

Communicates Alea’s depth of experience
Showcases her values and policy positions clearly
Positions her as a serious challenger to a long-entrenched incumbent
Generates email, SMS, volunteer, and donation conversions
Provides a professional platform for media, supporters, and community members

The website now functions as a strategic asset for the entire campaign—one that aligns with Alea’s mission, builds trust, and supports momentum through Election Day.
