A Wisconsin-Rooted Website Built on WPA’s Signature Visual Identity

Project Snapshot

Northwoods PAC needed a website that felt unmistakably Wisconsin — warm, rural, community-driven, and visually distinct. Partnering with WPA Intelligence for art direction, we built a custom site that blends handcrafted illustration, clean typography, and a strong sense of place. Crosby Creative Co. developed a responsive, high-performance site that elevates the PAC’s mission, introduces Jessi Ebben, and creates a polished digital hub for issues, outreach, and grassroots engagement.

The Problem

Northwoods PAC had strong messaging and a compelling advocate in Jessi Ebben — but no website that reflected their identity, region, or political mission. The challenges:

No existing digital presence

The PAC had no website, no structure, and no framework for presenting Jessi’s story, priorities, or Wisconsin-first mission.

Lacked a unifying visual identity

Northwoods PAC emphasizes heritage, outdoorsmanship, and rural values. They needed a visual system that conveyed that feeling. WPA delivered a beautiful series of landscape illustrations and palette direction — but they needed a website capable of showcasing that art at a high level.

No narrative structure

The PAC needed a clear way to communicate:

  • Who Jessi is
  • Why she’s running
  • What issues she supports

How Wisconsin families can get involved

No conversion pathways

The PAC needed:

  • Donation prompts
  • Issue exploration
  • A clear contact flow
  • Mobile-first performance

None of those existed yet.

In short, they needed a complete digital foundation — brand-aligned, Wisconsin-rooted, and professionally structured.

Our Solution

We designed a focused and visually distinctive website that highlights Jessi Ebben’s experience and presents her priorities with clarity and impact.

1. A Wisconsin-Forward, WPA-Inspired Design System

The first step was embracing the art direction created by WPA: warm sunset palettes, pine silhouettes, lakeside reflections, and Midwestern rural vignettes.
We built the entire site around those visuals — treating the artwork not as decoration, but as the identity of the brand.

This created:

  • A unified aesthetic
  • Instant regional recognition

A tone that matched Jessi Ebben’s biography and values

2. A Clear Storytelling Structure

To prevent the site from feeling like a generic campaign site, we created a content flow with intentional narrative pacing:

  • About Jessi: Her Wisconsin roots, local career, small-town values, and belief in service.
  • Issues: Each issue section paired with a WPA landscape illustration, giving each policy a strong visual anchor.
  • Get in Touch: Simple, clean contact form with a district map beside it for local relevance.

This structure helps visitors understand who Jessi is, what she stands for, and why the PAC supports her.

3. High-Conversion Layout & Accessibility

The site was built with:

  • A clearly placed Donate button
  • Modular issue cards
  • Fast load times
  • WCAG-friendly color contrast
  • A fully responsive mobile layout

Every component is designed to communicate quickly and convert efficiently.

4. Built to Grow With the PAC

Even though the site launched with a tight set of pages, we built it in a modular, scalable way so the PAC can later add:

  • Endorsements
  • News
  • Volunteer infrastructure
  • Additional candidate support

The site acts as a long-term digital foundation, not a one-off campaign page.

The Design

Results & Impact

The Battle Proven Leaders PAC website gives supporters a clear and compelling introduction to Jennifer Ruth Green. The layout communicates strength and discipline from the moment visitors arrive. The custom videography adds movement and presence. The double exposure artwork sets the brand apart from standard political templates. The content is focused, readable, and built to convert interest into action.

Most important, the site gives the PAC a credible and visually memorable platform to support Jennifer Ruth Green and share her priorities with voters across Northwest Indiana.
