Lighthouse Public Affairs is a strategic communications and crisis management firm serving corporate clients, campaigns, and advocacy organizations. They needed a website that matched the sophistication of their work and clearly told the story of founder Chapin Fay’s deep experience. Crosby Creative Co. transformed a simple, one-page brochure site into a modern, story-driven web presence that showcases their expertise, media footprint, and results.
The previous Lighthouse site was essentially a single scrolling page built on a generic template:
The homepage listed core services—strategic communications, political consulting, crisis management—but offered little context, proof, or narrative around the firm’s experience or track record.
With minimal navigation and dense text blocks, visitors had no obvious path to learn about the founder, review media appearances, or get in touch.
Lighthouse works in high-stakes environments, but the old site didn’t highlight press coverage, testimonials, or case-style examples that would reassure skeptical, risk-averse clients.
We rebuilt the Lighthouse Public Affairs site from the ground up with a focus on clarity, authority, and conversion.
We opened the new homepage with a clear, three-part promise—”Big-firm expertise. Small-firm attention. Proven success.”—paired with supporting copy that immediately explains what Lighthouse does and who they serve. This gives visitors a strong first impression in a single glance: high-level expertise, boutique service, and real results.
Instead of cramming everything into one page, we introduced a logical content structure:
This structure makes it easy for different audience types (corporate, legal, advocacy, campaign) to quickly understand, “Yes, this is for me.”
Lighthouse had impressive validation that wasn’t being showcased. The new site surfaces that proof at multiple levels:
This layered social proof reassures prospective clients that Lighthouse is already trusted by serious players in politics, media, and business.
Visually, the site uses a clean, modern layout with strong hierarchy, generous whitespace, and typography that feels confident without being flashy—appropriate for a serious communications firm.
This turns the site into a living asset rather than something that will feel outdated in a year.
The new Lighthouse Public Affairs website communicates exactly what high-stakes clients need to see: clear positioning, deep experience, strong media credentials, and a straightforward path to get in touch. Instead of feeling like a generic template, the site now reflects who Lighthouse really is—a specialized firm that combines big-firm sophistication with hands-on, boutique service.
